Item Description
An impressive and RARE large combination from Pech. A 4.3 cm gemmy bi-colored tourmaline is dramatically set in the side of a pristine, 13.2 cm, glassy, transparent to translucent, doubly terminated smoky quartz crystal. Smoky quartz is VERY RARE from the famous pegmatites at Pech. The beautiful, classic well-striated tourmaline has a gem, bright mint-green upper half and complimentary pretty pink lower section. The striking tabular smoky and tourmaline are nicely set in bladed cleavelandite and blocky albite matrix. Some of the cleavelandite is rare BLUE on the bottom and you can see hints along the edges. This RARE and very fine sculptural large combination has high visual impact. Valued $2500
