Item Description
A beautiful gem grass-green tourmaline crystal from an unknown pegmatite near the famed Pederneira Mine. This very glassy, lustrous, striated, limpid trigonal beauty has only subtle interior veils and layering, it is so glass-clear. The olive-green highly modified pyramidal termination is a fine accent. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The one gently bruised termination face (out of sight in most views) is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent richly colored classic green Minas Gerais tourmaline crystal. Mass is 12.91 grams or 64 carats. MUCH better in person. The gemminess and lustre made photography difficult.
