Gem tourmalines are EXTREMELY RARE from this well-known Zimbabwe pegmatite noted for excellent rich blue topaz and euclase specimens. The sharply terminated, glassy, highly lustrous and well-striated crystal looks quite dark under normal light. BUT, when back lit it GLOWS with rich grass-green gemminess! A very rare, beautiful and deceptive water-clear elbaite from St Anns Mine and the Phil Scalisi Collection. 29.48 carats or nearly 6 grams mass. Valued at $1250 for rarity and high quality.
