Item Description
A striking 4.8 cm tectonically bent topaz crystal is dramatically set in marble and country rock matrix on this outstanding small cabinet from Katlang. The upper 2.3 cm of this stunning crystal is gorgeous rich cognac water-clear gem. The highly modified pyramidal termination has frosted and etched faces. The lower portion of the crystal is layered, translucent and the filled-in crack adds real pizzazz to this beauty. The exposed gem portion is complete all-around and nearly pristine. The bit of contacting and bruising to an inside edge and face is mostly out-of-sight in the display view. The marble fluoresces modest pink. A super small cabinet, that displays dramatically without aid. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Very little new material has come from the Mardan District in the last few years. Valued at $3000-3500 and worth it.
