Item Description
A classic, sherry-colored topaz crystal from a New Find in Pakistan. The blocky crystal is water-clear gem with a frosted termination. All of the four prism faces are mostly water-clear, like windowpanes. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only light bruising on one termination edge and on prism edges. Contacting is noted on two faces, but with very little actual damage. A bit of internal crazing/cloudiness is noted in one corner. The base is contacted, but has very little damage, per se. This is excellent cutter-quality material with rich color. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. At 303 grams, this is one of the largest and gemmiest crystals in the lot. MUCH,MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
