Item Description

A classic, sherry-colored topaz crystal from a New Find in Pakistan. The blocky crystal is water-clear gem with a frosted termination. Technically, this is a doubly terminated crystal, as the base is contacted, but has very little damage, per se. Three of the four prism faces are mostly water-clear, like windowpanes. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only light bruising on one termination edge. A bit of internal crazing is noted. This is excellent cutter-quality material with rich color. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. 197 grams. MUCH,MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
