Item Description

A gorgeous gem tanzanite from a recent find. The very glassy parallel-growth crystal has a striking fluted edge, nifty rounded termination and oustanding pleochroism (3 colors). Blue and purple are evident on the A and B axises and the C-axis glows red when the crystal is underlit. Complete all-around and very pristine. 65.09 carats mass. Fairly valued at $2750, for gemminess, fine color saturation and unusual form.
