Gem Tanzanite (superb) 40 carats

A gorgeous, RARE color style of gem tanzanite from a recent find. The very glassy parallel-growth crystal has surreal pleochroism (3 colors). Blue and purple are evident on the A and B axises, but depending on the lighting type and incidence, a glorious LILAC color (not red) saturates the entire crystal from any face! Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only very trivial termination edge wear. 40 carats mass. As a trivia, this is about the mass of the Hope Diamond, which is 45.52 carats. Fairly valued at $3000, for fabulous rare color saturation, and gemminess.
