This very fine, tapered gem crystal has all 3 colors of the natural trichroic crystal present, with the rich red C-axis color. It has riveting glassy luster that is top of the game; excellent clarity and transparency; and a full-sized thumbnail at 34.12 carats or nearly 7 grams. The minimal bit of internal crazing adds pizzazz to this gem beauty. As a specimen, I value it at $2500. As a pure bonus, the gem rough value here is considerable in finished wholesale gems - gem dealers would heat-treat this to make it the deeper jewelry-desired crazy-blue color, and cut away.
