Item Description
This striking, large, parallel-growth cluster of spodumene variety triphane (yellow-green spodumene) crystals is highly lustrous, very gemmy and has pretty light mint-green color. Some faces have waxy luster from the striations, while others are water-clear. The dramatic, offset chisel terminations and cluster of cleavelandite blades add much pizzazz. This super piece has less etching than you normally see. Complete-all-around and pristine. The base has been sawed. Orange fluorescence! An excellent large example of the species from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. 184 grams mass. Herb valued this a $950, more than 5 years ago. BETTER IN PERSON!
