A gorgeous, gem, ruby-red spinel octahedron from famed Mogok. This textbook flattened crystal has classic pigeons blood-red color and super-high glassy luster. Most of the crystal is water-clear, with only a few interior veils. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A lightly bruised tip is out-of-sight on the back. Very fine richly colored gem spinel. This is a good sized high quality spinel for the locale. 7.22 carats mass. Valued at $500-700.
