Item Description
A beautiful, 4 mm, gem, greenish-gold, what appears to be an uncommon sphalerite octahedron is nicely set in a vug on the side of the sugary dolomite block on this excellent and classic miniature from Lengenbach. The dolomite host stringers of pyrite and other famous Lengenbach rarities. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in a trade from Natural History Museum of Bern in 1965. Classic old material.
