Arkansas smoky quartz specimens of this gem quality and color are EXTREMELY RARE. This outstanding and sculptural large 360-degree plate is covered with limpid, glassy crystals with fine smoky color. The crystals at the base are not smoky, proving this piece has not been irradiated. The superb central crystal is nearly 4.0 cm tall and you can see right through it to the smaller crystal behind it. All of the crystals in the interior are pristine and the noted periphery wear, mostly one one side, is certainly only a modest detraction.
