Rich smoky color enhances this beautiful, limpid, smoky quartz crystal from Switzerland. Very interestingly, four of the six prism faces and five of the six sharp termination faces are preferentially lightly etched. The remaning faces are stunningly water-clear. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only the most trivial of termination brusing. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and exceptional specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987.
