Rich smoky color enhances this beautiful, limpid, smoky quartz crystal from Switzerland. The stunningly water-clear prism faces are enhanced by the subtle stepped-growth and the termination faces have unusual looking stepped-growth/scalloped/patterned faces, totally unlike the prism faces. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with one trivial spot of side edge wear. The base is broken. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and fine specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987.
