Gem "pokerchip" Calcite xl ex Obodda

Item Description

A very fine, sharp, water-clear "pokerchip" calcite crystal from the famous mines at Dal'negorsk. The prism is 9 mm thick and has lightly frosted faces. The attached smaller crystals and bit of matrix add character. Those are probably tiny, sparkly apophyllite crystals on one side. An excellent, nearly pristine two-sided piece with only a trivial bit of edge wear from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. A classic and uncommon calcite style. Older material, no longer available, from the early to mid-1990s.
