Item Description

Wow! Gem matrix pink topaz crystals from Katlang are some of the rarest and most desirable topaz varietals in the world. This gorgeous, 2.2 cm, sharply terminated crystal is water-clear and has beautiful rose-pink color. The luster and gemminess are first-class. Matrix specimens of this quality are very rarely on the market. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. This crystal is from the collection of Dr Fred Pough, former curator of the American Museum around World War II, and popular author of the Field Guide to Rocks and Minerals, first published in 1953. Valued at $1750-2000.
