gem Pink Fluorite crystal

Item Description

This is an astounding, limpid, gem fluorite crystal. The crystal is very lustrous and absolutely transparent along with exhibiting a superb, rich pink color. It is the largest truly GEM CLEAR pink fluorite I have seen. It is big but not perfect, as the back is cleaved - but that is not evident when the crystal is displayed upright and it just looks like a pink jewel. Also the lower left corner has been contacted by another crystal, hence is asymmetric. But it is big and pink and GEMMY! The gem weight is 227 grams. Superb as a crystal or gem rough, this is from remarkable new finds (summer 2011) at this rich mineral locality.
