A beautiful gem, teal-blue indicolite tourmaline from this famous locale. The limpid, very glassy, well-striated crystal is dramatically accented by the jauntily angled side car crystal, yellow-green matte termination and preferential coating of tiny, frosty cleavealandite blades. The base with the piece says Sapo, but this indicolite is undoubtedly from the Pederneira. A choice, pristine, classic and sculptural 360-degree example of the species and locale. 46.07 carats or 9 grams mass. Valued at $700-900.
