This superb gem indicolite tourmaline blade has fabulous steel-blue color throughout. The pyramidal termination is etched and there is a really thin bottle-green zone immediately below. An exceptional crystal with outstanding color from the famous locality. Ex Steve Smale Collection. Steve priced this piece to me at $200 in a large trade about 10 years ago. It is worth $500-700 today. 9 carats or 1.8 grams mass.
