Item Description
A wonderful, sculptural, parallel-growth, gem tourmaline with intense teal-blue color. I exchanged this some years ago from the noted tourmaline miniatures suite of collector Steve Smale. It may not be huge in size, but in impact, it leaps out at you for the sheer saturation of color, and glassy internal clarity. Essentially pristine. One lower side has a trivial bit of contacting, with no damage, per se. Mass is 47.6 carats or over 9 grams. Classic and gorgeous Barra de Salinas indicolite.
