Item Description
A gorgeous, rich teal-blue, gem tourmaline from Otjua. This color and quality of elbaite is quite rare and is highly desirable from the pegmatites at this well-known locale. It probably dates to the 1970s and 80s finds. Complete all-around. A trivial bit of side wear is noted. Ex David Mansfield Collection, son-in-law of famous dealer Sid Pieters. 10.87 carats or 2.2 grams.
