Item Description
A gem, doubly terminated indicolite tourmaline from the famed Pederneira Mine: The limpid, very glassy, well-striated, TABULAR prism has a classic teal-blue body with distinctively different color and shaped terminations. The interesting modified pinacoidal termination has a pretty grass-green section below the below the near colorless to light pink termination. The flat pinacoidal termination is lightly purple and nicely accented with a small side car crystal. Complete all-around and pristine. The back side has a contact, where another crystal once lay, but there is no damage, per se. The one clean repair is certainly acceptable in the context of pegmatite species. This cute, excellent and classic indicolite small cabinet is from the Pederneira is from the circa 2009-2010 finds. Mass is 6 grams. MUCH better in person!
