This beautiful gem tourmaline pencil from the famous Pednerneira Mine has striking subtle color variations throughout its length! Mostly a classic pretty teal-blue indicolite, here are the colors of the glassy and limpid crystal from the termination: green pyramidal tip; 2 mm colorless zone; 2 mm lavender zone; about 1.5 cm teal-blue zone; about a 2.0 cm light lavender zone; and the rest of the crystal is teal-blue becoming slightly darker at the base. A classic and beautiful Pederneira indicolite with color changes! Valued at $1000-1250.
