Item Description
A gorgeous gem indicolite blue tourmaline from this famous locale. The incredible stepped/etched faces give this beautiful crystal a stunning skycraper look. A striking, rich green zone at the base really adds color and pazzazz to this superb crystal. Barra de Salinas is renowned for bi-colored and sceptered tourmalines. Indicolites of this outstanding gemminess and rich blue are RARE, indeed. Probably old-time material from the 1960s or 70s. Pristine, except for the broken tip of a stepped side car, which is out-of-sight on the back. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $100, for free. Valued at $1800 and well worth it for rarity, color and quality. 23 grams.
