Beautiful and lustrous, cinnamon-orange grossular garnets to 1.0 cm are attractively cover the front of matrix on this showy miniature from the famous and now-closed Jeffrey Mine. The garnets have gorgeous, gem fire under bright light and well-striated faces. Sharp, pastel-green, diopside crystals are a nice accent to the front and base. A few bruised crystals are noted, but this is a highly representative, rich and showy example of the species from this renowned locale. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
