Item Description
Lovely peach-colored gem grossular garnets are aesthetically strewn on the mounded matrix on this showy and excellent small cabinet from the famed Jeffrey Mine. The glassy crystals, to 1.5 cm, have water-clear and frosted faces and are trapezohedrons modified by dodecahedral faces. The central, primary crystals are pristine and the noted bruising to a few crystals on the periphery is certainly only a modest detraction. Classic material with fairly large crystals. From an East Coast collection.
