RARE and gorgeous gem fluorite from this most obscure old Hardin County mine, not listed by MINDAT! Superlative sharp phantoms highlight the limpid violet cubes on this adorable thumbnail from the Ross Lillie Collection # 1614. Self-collected by Ross in 1981 from a mine that was active in the 1930s and 40s. Ross's handwritten note says it all. It looks like classic fluorite from Berbes, Spain, but it's not!
