Item Description
Beautiful, gem, emerald-green fluorite cubes cover this rich and colorful large plate from recent finds at the Diana Maria Mine in the famous Rogerley Quarry. The very glassy cubes have some scattered areas of white translucence. Crystal faces are glass-clear to satin luster to frosted. Interesting crystal chemistry here. The classic gem penetration twin on the upper right side is 1.4 cm tall and the large cube on the upper left is 1.3 cm across. The cubes fluoresce under any bright light. Bright blue-purple fluorescence! Ex Tim Sherburn Collection. A highly representative and rich large example from the locale.
