Item Description
Beautiful, gem, highly glassy luster, purple interpenetrating fluorite twins carpet this impressive large, mounded 3-dimensional specimen from the famous Frazer's Hush Mine at Weardale, that operated from the early 1970s to 1999 (MINDAT). The twins reach 1.6 cm on this striking rich 360-degree specimen. Gemmy fluorites of this style and color are a desirable classic from here and this is a fine large example. Complete all-around and essentiall pristine, with just a bit of periphery wear on the back side. Choice fluorite from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 1080. Rich purple fluorescence.
