Remarkable gem, beautiful sky-blue intergrown fluorite cubes form an outstanding and aesthetic small cabinet from the famous Minerva Mine. The totally limpid cubes, to 2.3 cm, have silky lustre faces. Photography could only capture hints of the water-clear quality and fine blue color of these rare quality crystals. UV light reveals a bonus, with areas of yellow hydrocarbon fluorescence. Essentially pristine. An exceptional blue gem fluorite from Illinois. MUCH better in person! Valued at $1000-1250.
