Item Description

A fine 6-piece suite of gem, very glassy, well terminated, yellow-green fluorapatite crystals from this famous Mexico iron mine. The crystals have distinctively different shapes and sizes and one is attached to quartz. From an East Coast collection and comes with a Hugh Ford label, that dates from 1946-57. The $7.50 price on the Ford label was EXPENSIVE in those days. Classic and excellent old-time Cerro de Mercado fluorapatite.
