An impressive and elegant pair of gemmy and lustrous, yellow-green, apatite crystals from the well-known iron mine at Cerro de Mercado. For the size, these nearly flawless, limpid, beauties are among the best one we have seen. The crystals have very minimal crazing. The sharply terminated crystals are complete all-around and nearly pristine. Both crystals have inobstrusive contacting that has minimal impact to the quality of the crystals. Classic and outstanding apatite. 46 grams total mass or 29 and 17 grams. From an East Coast collection.
