A 3.3 cm, pristine, gem, yellow-green fluorapatite crystal "tower" stands guard over a deep grotto of quartz/chalcedony, that is lined with bubbly snow-white hyalite opal on this impressive large and excellent combination from this famous iron mine. Matrix specimens of this size and quality are seldom available as ore blasting generally dislodges the crystals from matrix. This large piece has a sawed base, which really enhances the display quality this dramatic specimen. Neon-green opal fluorescence. Valued at $800-1000 for uncommon large size and quality.
