Gemmy, yellow-green fluorapatite crystals from Cerro de Mercado are a classic Mexico species and this is a very fine matrix example. The sharply terminated, glassy, crystal is nicely set on a bit of hematite. Pristine and the texbook hexagonal crystal has few internal veils, with cause the striking rainbow effects.
