A striking, limpid, 5.8 cm, doubly terminated smoky quartz crystal with beautiful rich color is dramatically set on granitic matrix with smaller smokies on this extremely fine small cabinet from Switzerland. Some of the water-clear faces have very nifty stepped-growth, while others are glass-clear. The piece displays beautifully without aid and all sides of the crystal look great. Very nearly pristine, with only the most trivial of termination bruising. Classic and very choice Swiss smoky quartz with exceptional gemminess. Valued a $1000-1250.
