Gem DT Aquamarine xls (Matioli Coll.)

Item Description

A gem of a 2-piece deal from the pegmatites at less well-known Padre Paraiso and the Matioli Collection. The etched, floater, tapered, doubly terminated crystals are a pretty mint-green. The water-clear crystals have a waxy luster. The crystals show the well known "bullet" habit that comes from selective hydrothermal etching to create these really interesting crystals. One termination on each crystal has a nifty hollow. 13 grams total mass, 7 and 6 grams each. A very fine and uncommon pair.
