Gem DT Aquamarine w/ clay inclusions (excellent)

Aquamarine crystals from the much less well-known Marambaia area of Brazil are rare and are seldom on the market. This is, however, a classic older Minas Gerais aqua locale. The beautiful, light sea-foam blue, gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated crystal is strikingly etched (typical for the locale). The elongated clay inclusions (probably from interior tubes being filled with clay) really adds character to this very fine and uncommon aqua. Pristine. Mass is 46 grams. Valued at $1750-2000.
