Item Description
Beautiful teal-blue color on this classic limpid gem doubly terminated indicolite tourmaline from circa 2009-2010 finds at the famed Pederneira Mine. The very glassy, highly lustrous, well-striated trigonal crystal is nicely accented by the strikingly stepped-growth purple termination. The basal termination is teal-green. Pristine with negligible internal layering. The one barely noticeable clean repair in the middle of the crystal is certainly acceptable in the context of pegmatite species. VERY difficult to photograph correctly with the gemminess, glassiness, high luster, and striations. MUCH better in person! 9 grams mass. A fine and classic gem doubly terminated Pederneira indicolite.
