Gem Danburite with Calcite (Stoudt Coll.)

This is a really fine danburite crystal from Charcas. It is a quality for luster, gemminess, and sheer sparkle that few attain. It also is fully and perfectly terminated, with a very unusual intergrown double termination. Few are so perfect as this one, as many get damaged in collecting and handling. The glassy calcite rhombs on both sides are a super compliment. We value it highly, as a crystal that really is above the norm for this locality and species. Danburite came out of here by the ton. It would fit well in any fine collection as a jewel-like piece. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection and valued $300-400 at least. This is NOT just the common quality and such are very hard to get today.
