This extinct well-known large open pit copper, gold, molybdenum and silver mine has produced arguably the world's finest cuprite specimens along with very fine gemmy calcites. Mineral specimens are, in general, uncommon and highly desirable. This is a KILLER, GEM, lustrous, deep cherry-red cubic cuprite crystal thumbnail. It's wine-red under normal or bright light, but absolutely GLOWS with cherry-red color, when back lit! Rare on the market in this quality.
