Item Description
Sharp and complexly crystallized, this 1.3 cm Cuprite crystal is held perfectly between the tips of two solid Copper fingers. The luster is excellent and the light transmission quite good. The Cuprite crystal simply glows when backlit. The pics really tell you all you need to know about how good this toenail really is. UNUSUAL for the locality! Also, native copper is itself unusual here. The piece is copper ore, essentially (see the shot of the bottom, sawed off and showing solid copper inside!). Taken together, a subtle but important miniature that we felt should be valued highly.
