A spectacular WATER-CLEAR gem, colorless, fluorite cuboctahedron from recent finds at the now famous remote Huanggang mines. The super glassy and lustrous crystal has stunning water-clear cube faces. You can see like a TV screen to the garden-like bit of matrix at the attachment of Albite, Magnetite and green Hedenbergite! The water-clear cube faces are dramatically accented by the adjacent, striking dense, stepped-growth of the octahedral faces. Modest purple fluorescence. MUCH better in person, the extreme gemminess and glassiness made photography difficult. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. Valued at $2500.
