Item Description
Five fantastic gem, tetragonal pyramidal apophyllite crystals, to 1.6 cm, are aesthetically scattered on the large basalt matrix plate covered with granular green Mordenite, a Mica Group species. Clusters and isolated pearlescent blades of pearlescent stilbite blades are a super accessory and contrast. The limpid, very glassy apophyllites appear to be green. However, closer observation shows that the prisms are mostly colorless with the mordenite included in the base of the crystals and looks like a garden! We have never seen Jalgaon apophyllites of this style. VERY RARE in our reckoning. Valued at ???. This was a onetime special pocket in early 2019 and some examples sold for thousands of dollars at mineral shows. More have not come out since.
