Amazingly gemmy and lustrous, intense cherry-red, cinnabar crystals to about 1.0 cm are beautifully scattered in a very sculptural vug in quartz-rich matrix on this striking specimen from a very uncommon old locale in Nevada - the Red Bird Mine in Pershing County. These have to be the finest cinnabar crystals we have offered at auction from any worldwide locality. They are that good. Ex Wes Parker Collection at valued at $400-600. VERY rarely seen for sale!
