Item Description

Large, attractive specimen composed almost entirely of banded, lilac-blue and white Chalcedony, probably psuedomorphed after banded Fluorite. This material was often cut and polished for cabachons because of the color and translucence, but this particular piece was one of the ones 'rescued' and stashed away by Charlie from finds of 20 years ago, he told us. It is, however, cutting grade material (330 grams) with a good, thick carving zone within!
