Item Description

An uncommon and excellent two-sided Muzquiz celestine. A textbook, tabular celestine spearpoint has a striking water-clear termination. Most celestines from here are more translucent. The limpid termination is pristine. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 7283 and acquired from Willard Perkin in Glendale in 1974. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Rare style celestine from Muzquiz.
