Gem Calcite xl (fluorescent) ex Obodda

Item Description

This stunning, sharp, amazingly glassy calcite scalenohedron looks like a faceted gemstone and has an absolutely limpid termination area, that the camera just could not capture. Internal refractions have beautiful rainbow effects with the right lighting and angle. The crystal is colorless and the light green tint is due to the embedded chlorite on the back contact. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine. The contacts on the lower right side, where another crystal lay, and on the back have no damage, per se. A miniscule bruise is noted on the termination. Moderate neon-orange fluorescence. Choice older Dal'negorsk calcite from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. MUCH, MUCH, BETTER IN PERSON!!
