Gorgeous golden-yellow color on these classic gem interpenetrating twinned calcite rhombohedrons with satin luster faces from the Sokolovskoe Mine. The1990s finds of these are some of the easily recognizable and distinctive calcite finds of the last 25 years. Complete all-around and pristine, the bit of matrix at the base adds character. Ex Taylor Hunt Collection. A very fine and classic calcite example from the locality. Seldom on the market today in this quality and both sides look great on this 360-degree small cabinet.
