A grand French calcite geode lined with super lustrous and gemmy calcite scalenohedrons! Stunning, transparent, water-clear calcite crystals with incredible luster dramatically line the inside of this large geode from a limited find of shocking quality in France a few years ago. I have seen just a few on the market, from only one source, recently. This is some of the finest gem calcite I have seen and this expressive geode displays prominently! For France, highly unusual and fun! Spectacular piece from the important French suite of French field collector, Paul Zerfass (see Le Regne Minerale article on the collection, available by request).
